Guten Tag, y'all. The crewneck.

Helen is a Bavarian village in the North Georgia mountains, which means the greeting really does go both ways.

Blue diamonds band the wordmark above and below. That's the Bavarian lozenge, the state flag of Bavaria. Helen rebuilt itself in that image in 1969, so the flag is about where you're standing. Not the German tricolor, which is a different country's whole story.

The print stays the same across all three colors, so the garment does the talking. White keeps it clean, Butter warms it up, and Chambray puts the sweatshirt in the same blue family as the diamonds.

Garment-dyed fleece, washed and soft rather than flat and new. Medium-heavy at 9.5 oz, relaxed through the body. Light enough for a cool morning that turns into a warm afternoon, which is most of spring and fall up here.

For a walk down Main Street before the crowds, leaf season on the ridges, a morning on the porch, or any conversation that starts with "wait, there's a German town in Georgia?"

A note on garment dye

Each piece is dyed as a finished garment, so color varies slightly from one to the next. That's the character of the fabric, not a flaw.

Care

Machine wash cold, inside out, with like colors. Tumble dry low. Do not iron directly on the print. The garment dye keeps softening with every wash.
