Guten Tag, y'all. The dark crewneck.

Helen is a Bavarian village in the North Georgia mountains, which means the greeting really does go both ways.

On Pepper, Denim, and True Navy the diamond bands print cream and the wordmark goes with them, and the script shifts to a lighter alpine blue so it still carries against a dark ground. That's a separate color build rather than a recolor, because true Bavarian blue turns muddy on navy.

Those diamonds are the Bavarian lozenge, the state flag of Bavaria. Helen rebuilt itself in that image in 1969, so the flag is about where you're standing. Not the German tricolor, which is a different country's whole story.

Garment-dyed fleece, washed and soft rather than flat and new. Medium-heavy at 9.5 oz, relaxed through the body. These are also the colors that come back from a bonfire looking like nothing happened.

For a cold night on Main Street, leaf season on the ridges, the Christmas lights in December, or any conversation that starts with "wait, there's a German town in Georgia?"

A note on garment dye

Each piece is dyed as a finished garment, so color varies slightly from one to the next. That's the character of the fabric, not a flaw.

Care

Machine wash cold, inside out, with like colors. Tumble dry low. Do not iron directly on the print. The garment dye keeps softening with every wash.
